Referrals for this program come through the Coordinated Access System, which is a prioritization system built into a Simcoe County wide homelessness database, HIFIS. To complete an intake for HIFIS please connect with a housing access point e.g. emergency shelter, Housing Resource Centre or 2-1-1 within Simcoe County.

This program is not currently accepting referrals.
Transitional Rehabilitation Housing Program (TRHP)

This program uses an internal referral process.
Hartog House is also home to:
- Community Reach
- Shelter Now
- Canadian Red Cross
- Canadian Mental Health Association
The Shelter Now Transitional Support Program serves the communities of Simcoe County. The Program is offered to anyone over the age of 18 experiencing homelessness. As part of the Transitional Support Program, clients are given a furnished rent geared to income unit for up to four years. During their up-to four-year transition, clients agree to participate in programming, goal setting and working with a case manager.
Once clients have gained stability Shelter Now assists in finding permanent housing in the community. Support staff will provide outreach services when necessary. This may include brief services, assistance with navigating systems, and advocacy.
Hartog House does not have emergency beds and does not accept direct referrals.
