Shelter Now Brings Much-Needed Affordable Housing To Midland
Shelter Now is excited to announce the creation of 32 supportive housing units in Midland.
With a targeted move-in date of July 2023, this supportive housing development will offer much-needed affordable homes and supports to those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in North Simcoe. There is a mix of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and bachelor units, along with common space for on-site programming and community building. Through the support of the Canada- Ontario Community Housing Initiative, the Weber Foundation, town of Midland, Town of Penetanguishene, Township of Tay and Township of Tiny we are well into our Capital Campaign. We are now in the public phase of our capital campaign looking for the support of the community to complete the project.
